There is the construction of a reinforced concrete bridge of 36m long on the Konye Nyandong road. In Western Bakossi, Tombel sub-division, kupe muanenguba Division of the South West region, funded by the Road Fund of MINTP 2024 and 2025.
Resources transferred by the Ministry of Public Works through the Road Fund, are to speed up the decentralisation process in the management of regional roads, which is one of the objectives of the Ministry of Public Works.
Through decentralised credit to Tombel council the sum of 107 591 266 million FCFA allocated for 2024 budgetary year and 152 911 790 million FCFA as complementary resources for 2025, through the Road Fund. Giving a total amount of 260 503 056 million FCFA. This budget of 260 503 056 million CFAF, is the amount allocated to the Tombel regional Council by the Ministry of Public Works from 2024 to 2025, for the construction of a 36m long bridge is done by Destiny Enterprise.
Characteristics of the bridge are 36m long, width 7.4m and the height 7m, it is a reinforced concrete bridge with IPE beams. The bridge will not only facilitate the movements of both vehicles and pedestrians, but it will also reinstall safety during this rainy period .
