Works launched on the instructions of the Minister of Public Works for the urgent construction of a box culvert at Rontong-Nkar in Bui division of the Northwest region is to enable a fluid circulation of goods and services.
This construction works of a 1.5m x 1.5m box culvert have been launched following the service note N°01/ONIT/MINTP/BDTB/2024 issued on 4th March 2024. Funded by the public investment fund of the Ministry of public Works (Bip Mintp), these works have being carried out by the ETS M & N ENGINEERING enterprise thanks to an envelope of 69 000 000 CFAF TTC.
Throughout the execution of the works, the SDO of the locality has covered issues related to security and also monitored the quality of the works done. The enterprise in charge however, reported difficulties they came across due to the insecurity challenges in the di-zone. Challenges which have caused the non respect of the dateline which have being fixed initially.
The construction of this box culvert have eased the access and circulation of good and services on a part of the National Road N11.
