Having been in the Littoral region since yesterday, the Minister of Public Works, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, continued his field visit this morning along the Bekoko-Mutengene-Bolifamba road in the Southwest.
The government official took the opportunity to assess the level of execution of the roadway reinforcement work, for which the company Ecsb Sarl opted for cold emulsion treatment.
Despite the rain slowing down work, the company is working to fill potholes to improve service levels and transportation on the PK6 (Moungo River Bridge Entrance)-Tiko automatic tollbooth section and at PK75+800 (Penja exit).
According to Chief Ngeka Aaron of Mutengene village, the roads leading to Mile 16 are highly deteriorating, which requires immediate attention to ease circulation.
