Under the High Patronage of His Excellency Paul BIYA, President of the Republic, Prime Minister, Head of Government, Chief Dr. Joseph Dion NGUTE, officially inaugurated the Headquarters Building of the Ministry of Public Works on September 30, 2025. This event marks a decisive step in the modernisation of public infrastructure.
The headquarters building of the Ministry of Public Works is a modern setting provided by the government for an efficient publics service. Built on more than 15,000 m², the architectural jewel is a complex made of four buildings, including a thirteen-storey tower, given space for 307 offices, a conference room, meeting rooms, a multimedia library, a catering area and a gymnasium.
This modern equipped infrastructure is not not only a symbol of modernity but also functionality and efficiency as it is expected to go a long way in impacting personnel by affecting their productivity, safety, and job satisfaction through the quality of their workspace, access to technology, and the overall work environment.
With its smart technical equipment, the new building gives to the personnel of the Ministry of Public Works access to physical facilities like robust communication networks and updated energy grids by ensuring the operational continuity and a more effective work atmosphere.
