Located in the far north region, this section goes from PK 3+000 (Mora) to PK 25+000 (Tchakamari) on 22 km stretch.
Executed at 57.99% to date, the enterprise have already completed site preparation for the road construction as they are done cutting shrubs, cleaning and clearing of the road right-of-way. These ongoing works were launched on April 1st 2024, and initially, it was scheduled to be completed on Mai 2025. Moreover, due to some inconveniences related to the not so friendly climate in the zone, the dateline has been extended to 4 month globally making a total period of 19 month.
For a length 22 km the roadway is on 7m (2x3, 5 m), with edges width of 2 x1.5 consisting of 11 cm base layer in gravel pavement.
While the site preparation works are completed the foundation course has being layered and the reconstruction of the road edges are almost half way done. In order to guarantee the durability of the road, the old water drainage has been removed and replaced by 50x50 concrete gutters on the right side of the roadway to evacuate the collected water to low points.
