The execution of reconstruction of drainages structure on the National Road No. 3. BEKOKO-LIMBE IDENAU 93km, emphasis made on the timely, completion of the detailed studies, the start of work on the stretch, the prompt treatment of all potholes between and along the stretch and the treatment of damage areas before the rains are some of the objectives set by the project owner.
Seven bridges to be repaired, this project is to be executed through the fund transferred to Road Fund by MINTP for an estimated amount of 1,939,492,142 FCFA TTC and 99,535,471 F CFA TTC for both works and control mission. The Forecast date for completion of work set in June 08, 2025.
Today Monday the 14th of April 2025, the project owner gave a stink instruments during a project reviewing organise by the Minister of Public Works, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, together with all the stakeholders concern in the execution of road infrastructures. It should be noted that, the initiative to reconstructe damage drainages along the National road No. 3, is because that stretch of road plays a pivotal role linking two regions, the Southwest and the Littoral regions.
According to the Project Owner, these objectives aim to ensure the efficient performance of the Join Venture SORCIPHARM/UNION ENTERPRISE. company, which is working on this section of the National Road 3.
The Minister made it categorically clear to the company to reorganize their work as an assurances regarding the availability of equipment and qualified personnel, the proper organization of the company, and compliance with the deadlines set by the project owner. Failure to meet the objectives set by the Minister of Public Works will inevitably result in a formal notice.
Following the project review, the MINTP suggested taking action early through close project monitoring.
