The Construction work on Kumbo-Nkambe Misaje Lot 3 18 km is one of the subject matters deliberated on, this early morning, September 3, 2025, during a review of road projects organized by the Minister of Public Works, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi with close stakeholders' concern in the execution of roads
According to the construction company, the work progress as of now stands at 39%, time consumption stands at 106,57% and billing rate to date is 20.45%. This project is attributed to BOFAS SARL/ SUPER-CONFORT SARL joint venture under the management of CAEM/AFRICA ENGINEERING/GIC MALI joint venture, for an estimated amount of 15,336,563,852 FCFA excluding VAT.
Following the slight advancement of work carried out by the construction company, the Minister congratulated the team for their efforts, he urged them to multiply and mobilize more equipment to enable them to meet the deadline set in the contract. Looking at the estimated physical advanced rate of 39% the construction of this 18-km-long is making good progress. On the ground, earthworks are almost complete, and band ox culverts are built.
The clearing of the right-of-way has been done as compensation work for the population, another disturbing factor delaying work advancement is the poor condition of the road between Ntaba and Ntumbaw which doesn't facilitate the transport of materials and supplies to the site. The company overcomes obstacles and security constraints on this stretch of road Kumbo - Nkambe - Misaje, in the North-West Region. The roadbed has been executed over 4.8 km. With close to 10 machines and 6 liaison vehicles deployed to the site, teams are bent on meeting the objectives set before the deadline
